Gloss
The standard SC950 finish — wet and reflective, closest to factory paint.
Matte
No shine at all. Hides panel waves; shows fingerprints.
Metallic
Flake suspended in the film. Shifts as you walk past it — a flat swatch cannot show this.

Cast film with a matching laminate is what survives an Ottawa winter. It is dimensionally stable, so it stays where it was laid over rivets and recesses instead of shrinking back and lifting at the edges, and the laminate takes the UV and the road salt before the print does. Cheaper shops quote calendared film, which is thicker, has memory, and wants to return to the flat sheet it was rolled from — that is the wrap you see cracking at the door shuts and peeling off a box corner two seasons in.
